Ensembles at Northern Kentucky University include Symphonic Winds, Concert Band, Norse Pep Band, Jazz Ensemble, Vocal Jazz Ensemble, Chamber Orchestra, Philharmonic Orchestra, Northern Chorale, Chamber Choir, Opera Workshop, Brass Choir, Steel Band, and the Percussion Ensemble.
Additional ensembles are available through chamber music and accompanying courses. Several ensembles require auditions as specified in the catalog course descriptions. Most music degrees require participation in major ensembles for specified periods of time. All ensembles are open to both music and non-music majors.
